How Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC collects, utilizes, encrypts, and safeguards your personal data across our software ecosystem (Motif, Fledge, Caliber), advisory desk, and web portals.
Our Plain-Language Privacy Covenant
At Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC, we believe thinking tools, family protection systems, and personal wellness logs must never double as advertising surveillance vectors. We do not sell personal or health data to brokers, we do not embed third-party behavioral advertising SDKs, and you maintain complete ownership over your data with immediate in-app and web-based account deletion.
1. Scope & Studio Commitment
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is entered into by and between you and Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC (“Wolf Cub Ventures,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Utah limited liability company based in Sandy, UT.
This Policy governs your access to and use of all applications, websites, APIs, and advisory services operated by Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC, including:
- Motif (formerly Cubnotes): Our infinite-canvas visual note-taking, flowchart, drawing, file organization, and AI-assisted audio recording application.
- Fledge: Our screen coach and parental accountability application that protects children by screening for pornography and inappropriate content while nurturing healthy digital habits.
- Caliber (formerly CubCalories): Our comprehensive health and wellness tracking application for food, water, weight, digestion/stools, and medications.
- Growth Advisory & Studio Web Portals: Our official website hosted at
wolfcubventures.comand client advisory communication channels.
By downloading, installing, registering for, or using our Applications or Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect Across Our Applications
We practice strict data minimization. We only collect information strictly required to deliver core app functionality, maintain offline-first sync, and protect account security.
When you create an account in Motif, Fledge, or Caliber, we collect your email address and generate cryptographic authentication tokens managed securely through our backend infrastructure provider (Supabase). We never store plaintext passwords.
Notes, 2D canvas coordinates, flowchart connectors, vector drawings, and uploaded files. When you explicitly activate the AI recording tool, audio snippets are converted to text transcripts locally or via encrypted ephemeral inference sockets solely to generate your cards. We do not use your recordings to train public foundation models.
To flag pornography and inappropriate content, Fledge performs proactive on-device text and image safety classification. Flagged events generate secure parent notification records (timestamps and category flags) to facilitate family accountability. Raw browsing history is processed on-device and is not sold or monetized.
Food logs, macronutrients, hydration entries, body weight, digestion and bowel movement logs (such as Bristol scale categories), and medication schedules that you intentionally input. This sensitive telemetry is encrypted at rest and strictly siloed to your private user partition.
Categories of Data We Explicitly DO NOT Collect

- NO Advertising Identifiers (AAID / IDFA)
- NO Background Audio or Camera surveillance
- NO Financial credit card storage (handled by Google Play)
- NO Biometric data storage on cloud servers
3. Health & Parental Safety Data Covenants
Ironclad Protection for Sensitive Categories
We recognize that data stored in Caliber (nutrition, body metrics, digestion, medication) and Fledge (parental content flags and child screen time) represents the most intimate categories of user information.
- Zero Data Broker Sharing: We never share, sell, lease, or disclose health, wellness, or parental monitoring records to insurance companies, data brokers, or ad networks.
- Zero Advertising Profiling: We do not analyze your caloric intake, digestion logs, or child safety records to serve behavioral advertisements.
- Cryptographic Partitioning: Health and safety logs are bound by database Row-Level Security (RLS) and encrypted at rest with AES-256 standard ciphering.
4. How We Use Information
Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC uses your information strictly for lawful operational purposes:
- Core App Functionality & Synchronization: Authenticating your session, rendering infinite canvas nodes in Motif, calculating daily health analytics in Caliber, and delivering real-time parental safety alerts in Fledge.
- Local-First Offline Resilience: Persisting entries to local on-device cache so you can create, log, and review without an active network connection.
- Customer Support & Bug Diagnostics: Resolving application crash reports, investigating support inquiries sent to
admin@wolfcubventures.com, and fulfilling account deletion requests. - Advisory Client Correspondence: Responding to prospective business clients requesting growth marketing audits, advertising analytics strategy, and systems integration.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We engage select cloud infrastructure partners solely to host, encrypt, and deliver our services. Each provider is bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements:
Provides managed PostgreSQL database volumes, Row-Level Security (RLS), and JWT authentication tokens. Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256) on SOC2 Type II certified infrastructure.
Provides Android APK/AAB distribution, licensing checks, in-app updates, and Google Play Store services pursuant to Google Play Developer Distribution Agreements.
Hosts the official studio website and public legal portals (including this Privacy Policy and Data Deletion portal) on high-speed edge distribution networks.
6. Strict No-Sale & No-Behavioral-Ads Policy
Wolf Cub Ventures, LLC has never sold personal data and will never sell personal data.
Under no circumstances do we sell, rent, monetize, trade, or transfer your personal information, email addresses, notes, child safety alerts, or health logs to third-party data brokers, marketing firms, or behavioral advertising consortiums.
Furthermore, our consumer applications do not embed advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, or Unity Ads). You will never see third-party banner ads, interstitials, or tracking pixels inside Motif, Fledge, or Caliber.
7. Data Security & Encryption Architecture
We employ rigorous technical and organizational security controls:
All communications between mobile apps, web apps, and backend APIs enforce HTTPS with TLS 1.3 protocol encryption.
All cloud databases, relational foreign keys, and server backups are encrypted at rest using the AES-256 standard cipher.
PostgreSQL enforces cryptographic row-level security. User auth tokens can only read and mutate records owned by that specific account.
8. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
In strict compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies, we provide transparent, immediate, and permanently accessible mechanisms for users to delete their accounts and all associated cloud data across Motif, Fledge, and Caliber.
Two Simple Ways to Permanently Delete Your Data:
- Direct In-App Deletion: Open Motif, Fledge, or Caliber, navigate to
Settings → Account → Delete Account, and confirm. Your account, auth identity, notes, child safety events, and wellness logs are permanently purged immediately. - Web & Email Deletion Request: If you uninstalled the application or lost access to your device, visit our public portal at wolfcubventures.com/data-deletion or email admin@wolfcubventures.com. Manual requests are processed and completely purged within 7 business days.
9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our applications Motif and Caliber are intended for general productivity and health audiences aged 13 and above. Fledge is designed specifically for parents to protect and coach their children under verified parental supervision.
Fledge does not collect personal contact lists, microphone recordings, or location histories of children. All content screening occurs on-device, and parent alerts are encrypted. If you believe an account was created by an unsupervised child under 13 without verified parental consent, contact us at admin@wolfcubventures.com, and we will promptly purge the data.
10. State & International Privacy Rights (Utah UCPA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR)
Depending on your residence, you possess statutory rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Know & Access: You may request an export of all personal, canvas, or health information we have collected about you.
- Right to Correction: You may correct inaccuracies in your profile or health entries directly within app settings.
- Right to Deletion: You may request permanent deletion of your data at any time as described in Section 8.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will never alter pricing or quality of service because you exercised statutory privacy rights.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features across Motif, Fledge, or Caliber, Google Play policy updates, or statutory requirements. When revisions occur, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this document. Material changes will be highlighted within app update notes.
